Sharing a look at a very personal milestone—the design of our first custom light fixture, the Lexi Mobile Chandelier, named after my daughter. 🤍

With an asymmetrical 10-foot diameter, it delicately balances geometric arms with irregular, hand-blown topaz globes to bring warmth and scale to these soaring 24-foot ceilings. Seeing this piece transition from a technical blueprint and digital rendering into the crowning jewel of the great room is exactly why bespoke design is so rewarding.

The Art of the Atrium.

When we design a primary suite, we aren't just looking at square footage—we’re looking at how light, texture and nature interact. This San Antonio historical home features a central atrium designed by architect Tobin Smith that serves as a living lungs for the space.

From the crisp black lines of the steel windows paired with the classic Carrara marble floors, every element was chosen to create a sense of timelessness in a newly renovated home by Mauze Construction. It’s luxury that doesn’t need to shout to be heard.

Designing a space with as much heritage as this requires a deep appreciation for both craftsmanship and curation.

At NR Interiors, we believe thoughtful design is felt in the elements you don’t see, like the integrated refrigeration and faux-finished outlets that disappear into the marble. But it’s also found in the pieces you do see—the client’s stunning collection of China, beautifully displayed with a custom rolling ladder to make it part of the daily narrative. 🌿

We’re still in awe of this remodel and the fabulous team of experts we partnered with. Inspired by a house originally built in Charleston in 1771, this home has been beautifully reinterpreted for Alamo Heights. We believe every square inch of a kitchen should be intentional. For this project, even the 'knee space' of the island became a design feature. By pairing the organic, leathered finish of Taj Mahal quartzite with the linear precision of custom slatted white oak, we created a centerpiece that feels both sophisticated and naturally grounded.

From the seamless angled waterfall edge to the architectural details, this design was authored to feel as good as it looks. 🌿🍷

Swipe to step inside the primary retreat at our Alamo Heights project. We’re obsessed with the way the herringbone wood floors meet the stunning bay window. The mirrored closet doors reflect morning light in the lovely connection to nature along with walls painted in Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue.
