A New Chapter Begins January 1

Barn & Beach Too and Barn & Garden, is entering a new and exciting chapter. Beginning January 1, ownership of these two shops will be lovingly passed to Pat and Chris Christy, dear friends who share the same heart for community, creativity, and coastal living.

After years of friendships, stories, laughter, and the privilege of serving Brunswick County and Southport, I will be stepping down as owner and beginning my next adventure. Being part of this community has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Every conversation, every shared moment, every familiar face walking through the door has shaped Barn & Beach into the warm, welcoming place it is today.

Nothing will change in the day‑to‑day rhythm you love — all hours will remain the same, and the spirit of the shops will continue to thrive under Pat and Chris’s care. They are committed to preserving the heart of Barn & Beach while bringing their own joy and energy into the space.

Over the next few months, I’ll be transitioning out of ownership, and I would love for you to stop in, say hello, and share a few more memories before I officially pass the torch. I have so enjoyed my time as owner, and it means the world to hand these beloved shops to friends who will carry them forward with the same warmth and intention.
