🚨 THEFT ALERT 🚨 Please Swipe to see Stolen Item ➡️ During the afternoon of Thursday the 26th, two patrons of our community came into our antique mall and made the unfortunate decision to take a highly priced item off our wall, and walk away with it in broad daylight without paying for it.
The country antique fair mall business is shocked that someone would target a small business, and a community of 80 plus dealers who also call the mall a small business of their own. Things like this affect more than just a number on a paper. It’s people’s time and livelihood, and it sends ripples in the community outside of our mall.
To the patrons who stole from us: we have you very clearly taking the item, discussing with each other how to walk out with it, hiding behind one another while the other distracts our employees, and making the getaway to your vehicle, which, we also have video of.
The right thing to do is return the item to us. We still have faith and belief that this community around us is strong and good natured, please dont be the one that ruins it. If you do return it, no questions will be asked. Otherwise, we are not afraid to release your photos and videos to the police to file a report. To those in the community who have continued to give us support, whether through visiting the store, making small talk while we watch the metrolink go by, visiting our buying center on the weekends, or petting the cats that visit our parking lot, we appreciate the support. We love our mall and what we have built here as a community. However, we have an obligation to protect our dealers and employees, and when theft happens in our mall, we must take action. And to those of you who try to steal from us in the future, we have cameras, we see you, you will be prosecuted, and you will go up onto our wall of shame
