ATLAS 58 Conceptual vision for this dilapidated heritage building on Loop street, cape town.

The common areas that make a building soulful. Reception spaces, passages, the roof terrace and bar. Places for collecting stories.

A balance between exploration and familiarity. A concept that is dreamy yet comforting.

This house was a grand old dame in the outskirts of Stellenbosch. We stripped her naked and softened her colonial bones with veiny marbles and warm woods. Reconfiguring the entire internal space and flipped the kitchen to the view.

Whimsical wallpapers juxtaposed against graphic rug statements, pleated tiles against brass lighting. She’s a mood.

A bold, playful design direction rooted in the Memphis led colour blocking concept.

Creating a space that’s joyful, graphic & slightly surreal; where colour & shapes become the main feature rather than the background. Combining matte & gloss, mixing materials of wood, chrome & textiles; avoid of balance. Anchored by a central colour block with smaller scattered accents that surround it.

An immersive listening environment where burgundy wraps the sounds and blue anchors the calm creating a space that feels intimate, warm & intentional.
